This domain supports the approved SteamPulse Live Devvit app. It provides a small public game-activity payload for Reddit custom posts after app authentication.
The gateway is intentionally separate from the main SteamPulse website so Reddit posts can request a lightweight response without loading full HTML pages, private dashboards, or expensive browser routes.

Intended Reddit use
Subreddit moderators can create a SteamPulse Live custom post for a specific game community and show current public game activity inside Reddit.
Data handled by the gateway
Steam app ID, game name, current players, player peaks, recent chart points, update time, and SteamPulse links.
Privacy boundary
No Reddit usernames, comments, private subreddit data, member lists, moderator data, or Reddit account identifiers are sent to this gateway.
Why this gateway exists
It returns one pre-shaped public response for the Devvit app, reducing load on the main SteamPulse site and keeping the Reddit integration narrow.
Abuse controls
Rich endpoints validate app IDs, require app authentication, use short cache windows, and apply request guardrails.
What is not collected
- No Reddit user profile data
- No Reddit comments or post body text
- No subreddit member lists or private subreddit data
- No moderator actions, mod logs, or Reddit account identifiers
- No Reddit OAuth tokens or user cookies
